Frank’s Psycho-Analysis
Psycho-analysis~All About Me
My being is more than the flesh the shrouds my body. I am a spiritual being who is clashing with that flesh for a higher calling than temporary fulfillment, short-term accomplishments and mortal acceptance.
There is more to my April 4, 1990 conception than me, Frank E. Chestnut III or my parents, Frank II and Jacinta Chestnut, although I believe I was purposely born to them, so that they could be guides, nurturers and a means of loving support. I am more than earthly achievements and attributes, but if the direction of my attention seems to completely shun the earthly, then I have unfortunately misled. For only through the earthly route can I achieve the immortal gift of the spiritual.
On this earth, I do strive for excellence: socially and personally.
My striving for social excellence entails my inter-personal relationships and just sheer interaction with people. I try to deal with people just as I would have them interact with me. Whether there is a need for a gentle explanation, patience, direct observation, honesty, fairness, justice, enlightenment, etc. I attempt to effectively and considerately interact with people regardless of our differences. I think that we, as people, are here to support and strengthen each other and if that were so, we would not naturally seek the comfort of others—other people. We are inherently social creatures and should follow Christ’s example in interacting with one another.
I equate my personal striving for excellence with the anonymous author who is quoted as saying, “My signature is a guarantee of quality.” In school, work, volunteer projects, and home, if my name is associated with it, then I insure quality. I simply believe, when nothing else can stand, our good name, full of integrity, should be able to stand alone.
In the long run and for the eternal, my main objective is to lead a life that fulfills my purpose, which is to love God with my total being, love my neighbor as myself, teach or share the knowledge I have gained and serve my fellow man.
