1.   Cover Sheet                                                                                                                           

2.      Table of Contents (these can be listed in the order I have provided of material within your portfolio)                                                                                                                                      

3.    A section about the student (student may add pictures, memoirs etc. that depict him/herself)

4.                    student’s purpose (your personal view of your purpose in life) (1 pg max)

5.            student’s philosophy of life (how do you view life- 2 pgs max)

6.        Self Analysis Page (includes who you are and why you believe you have what is necessary to succeed in life- i.e. what can you offer life?)

7.     2 student resumes (one for current position in life (where you are now- one for future goal- where you can see yourself or would like to be later in life)

8.      Favorite Quote (you may make your own or provide someone else’s quote, but remember to credit that person by providing his/her name).

9.      One major lesson student has learned thus far in life (1 page maximum)

10.     A Thank you letter to all who helped you become who you are now

11.    A thank you letter to all who tried to prevent you from becoming who you are

12.     A list of pet peeves you may have

13.    A list of qualities you would not change about yourself and give a brief description of why you would change these things (description should be placed after each listing)

14.     A list of things you would like to change about yourself and give a brief description of why you would change these things (description should be placed after each listing)

15.  A list of genres you are including in your portfolio (i.e. fantasy, non fiction, fiction, historical fiction, traditional, poetry…).

16.  A list of short stories you read for class

17.   Annotated bibliography of stories read for class (see annotated bib requirements)

18.     brief description of each essay you have written

19.       All Essays you have written for class (follow assignments given for essays)

20.    A list of articles you read for class (list all 5)

21.     Article critiques of each article read for class (follow article critique format)

22.      Copies of the articles you read for class (all 5 articles should be provided)
